Poisoning Effects
The effect of poisoning covers 16 different areas that repeat and upgrade to five tiers. I decided to follow Quip
Quarrels example here and present the effects collected on a page (with links to the related poisons). The original information
is from Vaslin's EqCaster. I will put additional tactical considerations into that document as soon as I discover some on
the safehouse or my boards.
The Level information is related to the level of the one who made the poison. As known,
a poisons strengh increases with the makers level.
Berserker Madness
In Berserker Madness is a trade-off poison that is considered among many rogues as
"useless". The poisoned victim suffers a quit large damage over time, but experiences also a greater rush of adrenaline that
increases strengh and armor rating.
Anyway, it is quite useful for several things:
Attacking casters
Killing weaker caster pets
Training poison making
The exact effects are:
Tier I Increasing STR by 6 (Lvl 1) to 47 (Lvl 42) Increasing AC by 0 (Lvl 1) to 6 (Lvl 42) DD for 11 (Lvl1) to 52 (Lvl
42) DoT for 30 (Lvl1) to 235 (Lvl 42) The effect lasts for 30 seconds.
Tier II Increasing STR by 6 (Lvl 1) to 55 (Lvl 50) Increasing AC by 0 (Lvl 1) to 8 (Lvl 50) DD for 11 (Lvl1) to 60
(Lvl 50) DoT for 30 (Lvl1) to 275 (Lvl 50) The effect lasts for 30 seconds.
Tier III Increasing STR by 26 (Lvl 1) to 80 (Lvl 55) Increasing AC by 0 (Lvl 1) to 17 (Lvl 55) DD for 11 (Lvl1) to
65 (Lvl 55) DoT for 30 (Lvl1) to 425 (Lvl 55) The effect lasts for 30 seconds.
Tier IV Increasing STR by 6 (Lvl 1) to 47 (Lvl 60) Increasing AC by 0 (Lvl 1) to 6 (Lvl 60) DD for 11 (Lvl1) to 52
(Lvl 60) DoT for 30 (Lvl1) to 600 (Lvl 60) The effect lasts for 30 seconds.
Blind Poison
That one is one of my favorites. It is incredibly useful because
of its long duration. That makes that poison valuable for beasts as a "poor mans blind" as well as for PvP. Anyway, dont use
that in dungeons or your prey will bring his friends. Use it for:
Blinding your PvP opponent
Make beast run off.
The exact effects are:
Tier I Decreasing ATK by 5 Blind The effect lasts for 42 seconds.
Tier II Decreasing ATK by 5 Blind The effect lasts for 72 seconds.
Tier III Decreasing ATK by 5 Blind The effect lasts for 102 seconds.
Brittle Haste
Another treade-off serie of poisons. The weakening effect
is greatly reduced by a haste effect where the beast damages slower but more often than before.
Use it for:
Train poison making.
Debuffing already weak beasts for training defense.
Debuffing already weak beasts when the increased speed is gulped by the inability to make damage.
The exact effects are:
Tier I Increased Attack speed by 10% Decreased AC by 2 (Lvl 1) to 14 (Lvl 40) Decreased STR by 11 (Lvl 1) to 55 (Lvl
40) The effect lasts for 60 seconds.
Tier II Increased Attack speed by 15% Decreased AC by 2 (Lvl 1) to 16 (Lvl 48) Decreased STR by 11 (Lvl 1) to 58 (Lvl
48) The effect lasts for 72 seconds.
Tier III Increased Attack speed by 20% Decreased AC by 2 (Lvl 1) to 18 (Lvl 59) Decreased STR by 11 (Lvl 1) to 69 (Lvl
59) The effect lasts for 84 seconds.
Tier IV Increased Attack speed by 25% Decreased AC by 2 (Lvl 1) to 20 (Lvl 60) Decreased STR by 11 (Lvl 1) to 70 (Lvl
60) The effect lasts for 96 seconds.
Contact
Contact is a nice and direct DD serie. General useful likes it.
Use it:
when what poison to use
as quick opening move
for PvP opening damage
for group support
The exact effects are:
Tier I DD from 5 (Lvl 1) to 141 (Lvl 35)
Tier II DD from 5 (Lvl 1) to 177 (Lvl 44)
Tier III DD from 13 (Lvl 1) to 221 (Lvl 55)
Tier IV DD from 13 (Lvl 1) to 445 (Lvl 55)
Dizzy
Dizzy makes the opponents more vulnerable to your attacks. That is
really nice as soon as you face opponents or prey with high agility that is quite hard to hit. It also reduces the armor class
of the opponent a bit.
Use it for:
Sarnaks
In PvP against other rogues and monks and possibly other meele classes
other highly agile prey
The exact effects are:
Tier I Decreasing AGI from 5 (Lvl 1) to 25 (Lvl 40) Decreasing AC from 3 (Lvl 1) to 15 (Lvl 40) The effect lasts for
3 minutes.
Tier II Decreasing AGI from 5 (Lvl 1) to 29 (Lvl 45) Decreasing AC from 3 (Lvl 1) to 17 (Lvl 48) The effect lasts for
3 minutes.
Tier III Decreasing AGI from 5 (Lvl 1) to 32 (Lvl 54) Decreasing AC from 3 (Lvl 1) to 19 (Lvl 54) The effect lasts
for 3 minutes.
Tier IV Decreasing AGI from 5 (Lvl 1) to 35 (Lvl 60) Decreasing AC from 3 (Lvl 1) to 21 (Lvl 60) The effect lasts for
3 minutes.
Feeble Mind
Is also one of the very plain poisons. It simply drains a lot
of mana from your opponent. That effect is useless agains NPC's with their closely eternal mana, but it is a real nasty surprise
for every caster in PvP. *grins evilly*
Use it for:
Draining Mana from casters in PvP
The exact effects are:
Tier I Reduces Mana from 7 (Lvl 1) to 217 (Lvl 36)
Tier II Reduces Mana from 7 (Lvl 1) to 265 (Lvl 44)
Tier III Reduces Mana from 7 (Lvl 1) to 301 (Lvl 50)
Tier IV Reduces Mana from 7 (Lvl 1) to 355 (Lvl 59)
Flesh Rot
That is a real nice combination poison from Kaxxon's beauty tips.
It makes the flesh rot on the living opponent and causes great pain and suffering. Especially it is useful for tough meele
opponents, reducing their dex and make them suffer some damage over time as well. It makes a fighter in PvP feel quite safe
while slowly draining the life away. Also valuable is the fact, that the DoT is fixed and does not change with the level of
the maker - that makes it as a hard hitting but sneaking poison for young poisoners in longer fights.
Use it for:
Pvp combat vs. meele classes
Support poison for tough meele opponents
As DoT when you are quite new to poison making
When you expect a longer fight
The exact effects are:
Tier I DD of 5 DoT of 152 over 38 tics. Decreasing DEX from 6 (Lvl 1) to 42 (Lvl 38) The effect lasts 228 secons.
Tier II DD of 5 DoT of 184 over 46 tics. Decreasing DEX from 6 (Lvl 1) to 51 (Lvl 46) The effect lasts 276 secons.
Tier III DD of 5 DoT of 232 over 46 tics. Decreasing DEX from 6 (Lvl 1) to 51 (Lvl 58) The effect lasts 348 secons.
Injected
Makes small DD and large, fast DoT. General useful...
Use
it for:
Opening poison
Soloing support
Group support
PvP combo
The exact effects are:
Tier I DD from 2 (Lvl 1) to 38 (Lvl 37) DoT from 10 (Lvl 1) to 190 (Lvl 37) in 5 ticks The effect lasts 30 seconds
Tier II DD from 2 (Lvl 1) to 46 (Lvl 45) DoT from 10 (Lvl 1) to 230 (Lvl 45) in 5 ticks The effect lasts 30 seconds
Tier III DD from 2 (Lvl 1) to 49 (Lvl 48) DoT from 10 (Lvl 1) to 245 (Lvl 48) in 5 ticks The effect lasts 30 seconds
Tier IV DD from 2 (Lvl 1) to 59 (Lvl 58) DoT from 10 (Lvl 1) to 295 (Lvl 58) in 5 ticks The effect lasts 30 seconds
Tier V DD from 3 (Lvl 1) to 121 (Lvl 60) DoT from 35 (Lvl 1) to 625 (Lvl 60) in 5 ticks The effect lasts 30 seconds
Liquid Silver
That is a direct damage poison especially for undead beasts.
Keep in mind that in ONLY affects undead. Collapse that skellies! Rule that ghoul!
Use it for:
soloing undead NPC's
putting away necromancer pets
wandering around in Kithicor at night *joking*
the Befallen or Unrest

Tier II DD for 16 (Lvl 1) to 298 (Lvl 48) to Undead
Tier III DD for 16 (Lvl 1) to 370 (Lvl 60) to Undead
Lower Resist
That one is a typical group support poison. Your casters will
like it. It simply lowers all resists except poison. This is especially useful for huge, tough, top-end-of-area beasts. Send
it with my best greetings into the veins of Lady Vox and Nagafen.
Use it for:
In group to prepare a beast for caster attacks
The exact effects are:
Tier I Decreases ALL resists except Poison from 3 (Lvl 1) to 10 (Lvl 14) The effect lasts for 3 minutes.
Tier II Decreases ALL resists except Poison from 3 (Lvl 1) to 15 (Lvl 24) The effect lasts for 3 minutes.
Tier III Decreases ALL resists except Poison from 3 (Lvl 1) to 20 (Lvl 34) The effect lasts for 3 minutes.
Tier IV Decreases ALL resists except Poison from 3 (Lvl 1) to 30 (Lvl 54) The effect lasts for 3 minutes.
Muscle Lock
Rejoice fellow rogues, we have a snare. Soloing with this is
quite fun. Take out your strongest arrows and kite the beasts.
Use it for:
Snaring any opponent
In combo with the blind serie: stab, stab, stab
Nice in Pvp, especially the combo with blind
The exact effects are:
Tier I Reduces movement from 31% (Lvl 1) to 40% (Lvl 10) Lasts 1 tick (6 seconds) per level.

Tier IV Reduces movement from 31% (Lvl 1) to 60% (Lvl 30) Lasts 1 tick (6 seconds) per level.
Paralyzing Root
Oh boy that one is fine. It does a root and reduces the
attack speed of the opponent. Don't miss the combo with blind. The beast is rooted first and then gets a hit with the blinding
poison. Now the prey is unable to attack anymore and will take one stab after the other.
Use it for:
PvP - use the combo!
Group support for healthier tanks
Soloing
The exact effects are:
Tier I Reduces the attack speed by 50% Roots the target. The effect lasts for 42 seconds.
Tier II Reduces the attack speed by 50% Roots the target. The effect lasts for 72 seconds.
Tier III Reduces the attack speed by 50% Roots the target. The effect lasts for 102 seconds.
Poison Animal
That poison series is only useful for animals. In that case
it does a decent damage, but it is only used on rare occassions I suppose.
Use it for:
Poisoning training
Taking out animals quite fast
The exact effects are:
Tier I DD from 16 (Lvl 1) to 250 (Lvl40) vs animals only
Tier II DD from 16 (Lvl 1) to 298 (Lvl48) vs animals only
Tier III DD from 16 (Lvl 1) to 370 (Lvl60) vs animals only
Poison Summoned
That is the ultimate poison when you battle some casters
with a pet. It does a decent direct damage on the pet, often killing it in one blow. Surprise! Now to the caster...
Use
it for:
Soloing a caster with a pet
PvP vs. casters with pet
The exact effects are:
Tier I DD from 16 (Lvl 1) to 250 (Lvl 40) only vs. Summoned
Tier II DD from 16 (Lvl 1) to 298 (Lvl 48) only vs. Summoned
Tier III DD from 16 (Lvl 1) to 370 (Lvl 60) only vs. Summoned
System Shock
That poison is quite useful when you are used to it and face
a casting opponent. It pushes the target back, inflicts some nice direct damage and does a VERY short stun. That usually interrupts
all casting and gives you the opportunity to land another safe blow. It should be considered as a Contact-series poison with
disturbing side effect. Use Contact for DD only, and this one against casters. Watch the casters hands and jump in when they
start to glow.
Use it for:
Push an opponent over the cliff
Interrupt a caster with tough spells
Group support against casting beasts
General useful for the direct damage
The exact effects are:
Tier I DD from 5 (Lvl 1) to 149 (Lvl 37) Pushes target back 1 foot Stuns for 0.0 secons (spell interrupt)
Tier II DD from 5 (Lvl 1) to 181 (Lvl 45) Pushes target back 1 foot Stuns for 0.0 secons (spell interrupt)

Tier V DD from 15 (Lvl 1) to 555 (Lvl 55) Pushes target back 1 foot Stuns for 0.0 secons (spell interrupt)

Reducing the strengh of your target

Tier I Reduces STR from 2 (Lvl 1) to 34 (Lvl 33) Lasts for 1 tick (6 secons) per level.
